Srinagar, Nov 23: The Valley poultry farmers today lambasted the government for what they said “its undue interference in fixing the price of the poultry.”

Street protests, shutdowns and curfew in the Valley besides flash-floods in Ladakh region of Jammu and Kashmir marred the tourism season in the state this year.

The Jammu and Kashmir government is planning to transform central Kashmir's Budgam district into a modern satellite and mega city of the state. The concept of 'Budgam Master Plan' was reviewed at a meeting chaired by Minister for Animal and Sheep Husbandry Aga Syed Ruhullah and senior officials, including the Chief Town Planner discussed the plan, an official spokesman said.
