Chanapora youth still critical

Medical Superintendent (MS) of the Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) Dr Amin Taabish told Greater Kashmir that Iqbal's condition was still "not stable." He did not elaborate further on his condition.

Meanwhile, about half a dozen people with injuries have been admitted to various hospitals in Srinagar with bullet wounds.

In a related development, authorities have imposed curfew in several areas of Srinagar city and old town of south Kashmir township of Islamabad in view of mounting tensions and attempts by people to hold street demonstrations. Details are awaited.
